Job Summary
TheSystems HW Development Engineer llis responsible for the design and bring-up of HW infrastructure used to characterize SiTime’s revolutionary MEMS-based timing productsfor both engineering and production use.Responsibilities include analog circuit design, system prototyping and troubleshoot, product characterization system and algorithms development.We are looking for a highly motivated individual looking to contribute and learn in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and validate analog circuits to enable high-precision measurements
- Architect, design, and validate measurement systems used for characterization setup and production line
- Develop and implement algorithms
- Perform characterization and validation tests for our products
- Work with cross functional teams to evaluate HW infrastructure requirements for our products
- Provide technical support and training to operation team
- Contribute to other projects as needed by management or as business needs change
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MS in Electrical Engineering.PhD preferred.Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in the HW design and systems development
- Strong fundamental understanding of analog circuits and experience in analog circuit simulation such as Pspice and Hspice
- Strong fundamental understanding on clock jitter and phase noise concepts
- Experience in Cadence or Altium schematics capture and PCB layout tool
- Experience in ATE test environment and Bench level characterization setup
- Hands-on familiarity with electronics laboratory instruments
- Some programming skills, such as C/C++/Python/MATLAB scripting
